Control Panel Options

The main page of the Control Panel lists all the administration options available for the web site. These options are explained in the table below.

Control Panel Options (Figure 1)
Option Description
User Accounts 1
•    Add, modify, disable, and delete user accounts.
•    Set permissions for user accounts.
Events 2
•    Add, modify, or delete events displayed in the Reporting Interface Calendar Graph and Traffic Reports Historic Breakdown Graph.
Content Groups 3
•    Group similar pages together and see statistics for them individually or as a group in the Pages reports.
Content Mapping 4
•    Map multiple pages or referrers to a single name.
•    Create multiple pages from one page based on differing CGI parameters.
•    Exclude mapped pages or referrers.
Custom Reports 5
•    Create Custom Reports using Watches to report the number of visits that match the parameters you establish.
Client Exclusions 6
•    Exclude traffic from a specific IP address or Class C range when creating reports.
•    Exclude a specific IP address or domain from your Referrals reports.
Dynamic Content 7
•    Track pages generated by dynamic content.
Data Status and Processing 8
•    View import status and reprocess historical data after web site changes.
Event Log 9
•    View LiveStats event messages generated by your web site.

Note: If the LiveStats Administrator has not assigned permissions for user accounts to reprocess statistics, the Data Status and Processing option will not be displayed in the Control Panel to user accounts.

To return to this main options page from any of the Control Panel areas, simple click Control Panel on the menu bar (10 in Figure 1). The Global Admin button at the top of the Control Panel Interface (11 in Figure 1) will only be displayed if the user has logged in with the LiveStats Master Account. To return to the Reporting Interface, click the Reports button (12 in Figure 1). To close the Control Panel at any time, click the Logout button (13 in Figure 1).
